聚醚醚铜，英文PolyetheretherKetone，简称PEEK.

特性：

燃烧性能：聚醚醚铜极限氧指数高，满足UL94V0级的要求，燃烧时发烟量极低。它不含阻燃添加剂和卤素化合物。

耐化学药品性：聚醚醚铜能耐260℃的过热水蒸气，在高温下可耐60%硫酸或40%氢氧化钠。某些浓酸对其具有腐蚀作用。有机溶剂对其制备的模制零件不回复阿生腐蚀，但有限的溶剂对聚醚醚铜涂布的电线会发生应力开裂，然而在其熔点之下拉伸的聚醚醚铜材料能够克服应力开裂的问题。

耐辐射性能：初步化验表明，聚醚醚铜耐辐射性能很好.紧密卷线的聚醚醚铜涂布电线可经受11Mgy照射而不发生明显降解.它的耐候性能优良，户外老化一年后性能没有损失。

应用：

PEEK发展的历史仅为几十年，目前开始在电子电器、机械、 运输及 宇航等领域受到重视与应用。在电子电器行业中主要应用于电线、磁导线包覆、高温接线柱、极限版及挠性印刷电路板等。短纤维增强的PEEK可以制作轴承保持器、凸轮、飞操纵杆等。

PEEK还可以职称长纤维增强的复合材料，英国ICI公司已经推出商品化的PEEK树脂基的复合增强材料，用于制作直升飞机的尾翼等结构件。

PEEK可以挤出成型的特点，可以挤出高强度的单丝，具有优良的耐化学药品性、耐热性，适于制造化工设备中的过滤器部件；挤出的高强度膜经硫酸磺化后，可以用作离子膜，PEEK吹塑成型的容器，可以用来装运核反应堆的废料，这种容器耐腐蚀、耐辐射、质轻而安全可靠。

PEEK阻燃性好，不加阻燃级可以达到V-1或V-0级，而且燃烧时发烟少，毒气少。综合PEEK的耐高温、耐腐蚀、电绝缘性能及机械强度高、耐辐射及阻燃等优异性能，它又是宇航领域应用的新材料。
